Acura Geely CE concept

Geely car parade at Beijing is officially running smoothly. One of the renderings we posted pretty during the run up to the show is the concept of CE, a small hatchback that looked like it could be Acura's slumming in entry-level class. In metals, it seems pretty much exactly like the rendering a little better Acura style 5-door hatch.

That's Geely badge on the grille-shaped shield. It is more handsome than the Geely current market offerings, and it all means nothing, because we do not have pictures of the interior as well as technical details to flesh things out further. Thus, we will treat it as an exercise style that might have a Honda / Acura designers grumbling under his breath, and Chinese showgoers and (potential car-buyers) nodding approvingly.

Alfa Romeo Kamal Concept

If this intersection is a bit familiar, your eyes are not playing tricks. Alfa Romeo has unveiled a concept vehicle at the Motor Show 2003 Geneva. It was called Kamal, and she was supposed to have gone into production by now. But things were a little mad at the Fiat group. Mergers and acquisitions have collapsed and others have lived, forcing the Italian automaker to change its product strategy at every turn.

What we ask of all is this new batch of spy shots have leaked by an employee in search for Fiat Elasis and development facility in Pomigliano, Italy. Of course, it is quite possible the original concept has been moved to a storage facility to another, but then they could be on again for another reason. One way or another, we should find out soon that Fiat / Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is preparing to decide the fate of Alfa timely.

Alfa Romeo 8C

There are few things as a tragic missed opportunity. So if you were sitting at home crying over missed your chance to enter by one of the 84 examples of simply stunning Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione to reach U.S. shores, morale, because the miracle of eBay has come to save the situation yet again. Not one, but three US-spec 8Cs jumped for sale on the automotive section of the market on the clock.

Of course, this kind of design perfection does not come cheap. Not by any stretch of imagination. An example in St. Louis is falling on the block today with a starting bid of $ 243,900. A second one is in Minneapolis to take a starting bid of $ 305,800 and a Buy-It-Now price of $ 329,995. And a third example is available in Houston with a Buy-It-Now price or best offer at $ 295K. They are all red (naturally) and are far from being a sale price, but can you really put a price on beauty? Well, apparently you can, but this does not mean they will pay.

MINI Coupe and Roadster Concepts

Mini brought her birthday gifts for himself in the auto show in Los Angeles today for their North American debut. The Camden and Mayfair were there, but we spent more time ogling the Coupe and Roadster. As you recall in May, Mini created the two sports cars to celebrate its 50th anniversary and showed off both sides of Coopers Special edition in Frankfurt Motor Show. The changes are somewhat less obvious on the open top roadster, but you can certainly see that there is no back seat and the windshield is laid back to 16 degrees during the claimed Cooper Standard. The cap back on the coupe is a bit odd looking picture and vision of the real world does little to change that impression.

No vehicle display sported detail any changes, but it was always fun to see all crammed into a cabin the size of the section Toyota Venza. Ian Robertson, BMW does share a few more details on MINI's future with the "R60" 4-door 4-liter 4WD, about to get a real name and even more models in the works . For now we have the Coopers and club members and the Coupe and Roadster to keep us happy. Check out the gallery below.
