Dodge pulls the plug on the Caliber this coming November 2011

Last year's update to the Dodge Caliber, which saw the high-riding small car get a revised interior and little else, will likely be its last.

Reports have circulated for some time that a replacement for the small crossover is on the way, and according to Chrysler enthusiast website Allpar, dealers in the US have been advised to get final orders placed before November.

The report follows talk earlier this year of Chrysler and Fiat developing an Alfa Romeo Giulietta-based Caliber replacement, with a debut planned for January's Detroit Auto Show.

Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat and Chrysler, has previously confirmed that a new Dodge small car will be built on the Giulietta's underpinnings, known internally as the C-Evo platform.

“The new architecture, which debuted with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, is the most advanced mass-produced car Fiat has ever had. At Chrysler, Dodge will use it first,” he said.

Marchionne's comments and the new reports are in line with the company's roadmap, pointing to a Fiat-based model replacing the current Dodge Caliber in 2012.

While little else is known, Marchionne promised the new model will deliver fuel consumption figures of around 5.5 to 6.0 l/100km - suggesting power will come from one of Fiat's smaller-capacity MultiAir engines.

The new model's styling remains shrouded, although concept art that surfaced online last year (above) offers a glimpse at what could be the sportiest compact car to wear a Dodge badge in a long time.

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

  2012 Dodge Charger SRT8
2012 Dodge Charger SRT8. The new product onslaught continues for the Dodge brand with the announcement at the Chicago Auto Show that the Dodge Charger SRT8 will return for the 2012 model year.
The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 will be built at the Brampton Assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and will be in dealer showrooms later this year.
2012 DODGE CHARGER SRT8 POWERTRAIN
Under the hood, the new 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 delivers more horsepower and torque than the 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 it replaces. It also will offer improved fuel economy.
Estimated power ratings for the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 are 465 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, including an estimated additional 80 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,900 rpm. Specific horsepower, torque and fuel economy numbers will be announced closer to the vehicle introduction.
 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

Building upon the standard Fuel Saver technology (four-cylinder mode) found in the new 6.4 HEMI V-8, a new for 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 active valve exhaust system allows the technology to engage over a wider rpm range, which delivers improved fuel efficiency or the use of all eight cylinders when the power is needed.
 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

OUTSTANDING RIDE AND HANDLING
New for 2012, the Dodge Charger SRT8 features an adaptive damping suspension that uses a wide range of on-road and driver inputs, such as vehicle speed, steering angle, steering speed, brake torque, throttle position and lateral acceleration, to automatically tune the suspension for specific conditions.
The performance SRT-tuned, fully hydraulic steering system also is improved with a new, heavy-duty pump and revised gearing to give drivers more direct feel and on-center response.
New, split five-spoke, 20-inch lightweight forged and polished aluminum wheels with black painted pockets provide great looks, and the available three- or four-season tires make the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 easy to handle and fun to drive.
Exclusive new front and rear fascias, along with a new rear spoiler, distinguish the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 with a high performance look.
 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

The front grille, grille surround and Dodge crosshair feature high-gloss black finishes and the SRT badge. A newly sculpted hood features a 6.4 L (liter) badge and black air exhauster for added engine cooling.
Building upon the all-new design from 2011, the interior environment of the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 combines more world-class accommodations with race-inspired technology and appointments.

2010 Dodge Sport Cars Viper SRT10 Final Edition

Auburn Hills, Mich., Apr 6, 2010 - To celebrate the final year of production for the current-generation Dodge Viper, Dodge Sport Car is building a limited production run of just 50 2010 Viper SRT10 "Final Edition" models.
2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 "Final Edition"
The current Dodge Viper that we've all come to know and love is heading to that faraway automotive graveyard in the sky. Fret not – we have it on good authority that all supercars go to heaven. To commemorate the occasion, Chrysler has announced that it will build a limited edition 2010 Viper SRT10 "Final Edition" models with a production run of 50 Viper SRT10 Final Edition models.
The Final Edition Viper Sport Car models will be available in Coupe, Roadster and ACR (American Club Racer) model configurations and each will feature a Graphite Clear Coat body with a painted black center stripe traced in red. Viper Coupe and ACR Final Edition models include a black windshield surround. All Final Edition models carry unique side sill badges.
Inside, each car will get side sill badges along with red accent stitching on the black surfaces, plus red painted halo surrounds on the gauge cluster and bright stainless steel screws in center stack bezel. A numbered plaque will be featured on the shifter bezel and the updates will be finished off with Viper Final Edition floor mats.
Available in Coupe, Roadster and ACR (American Club Racer) model configurations, each Final Edition Viper exterior features a Graphite Clear Coat body with a painted black center stripe traced in red. Viper Coupe and ACR Final Edition models include a black windshield surround. All Final Edition models carry unique side sill badges.
The black interior features custom red accent stitching, red painted halo surrounds on the gauge cluster and bright stainless steel screws in center stack bezel. A numbered dash plaque (1-50) is located on the shifter bezel just above the unique Viper Final Edition floor mats.
All Viper Final Edition Coupe and Roadster models will wear six-spoke wheels painted in Anthracite, while ACR models will come with five-spoke Sidewinder wheels in black.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the Final Edition Viper. The beasty sports car retains its standard 8.4-liter V-10 engine, producing 600 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. That means all Final Edition models will rocket from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds, while being able to hit a top speed of 202 mph. Production of the Viper Final Edition will begin this summer, with just 20 coupes, 18 roadsters, and 12 ACRs being produced. Despite not having pricing information available yet, if you want one, you better get your order in quick.
Dodge will build 20 Final Edition Coupes, 18 Roadsters and just 12 ACRs, each dipped in a bath of Graphite Clear Coat with a black center stripe that's outlined in red. Coupes and ACRs will also get a black windshield surround that the Roadster does without. Capping off the exterior are anthracite six-spoke wheels for the Coupe and Roadster and black Sidewinder wheels for the ACR.
Production of the 2010 Dodge Viper Final Edition models is scheduled to begin in early summer.

SRT8 Dodge Challenger Sport Car Limited-Edition

SRT8 Dodge Challenger Sport Car

The Dodge Challenger uses Chrysler's LX platform also found in the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300C sedans, but with a decidedly more sporty exterior design and dimensions which help disguise its ample overall size.
The engine is connected to a five speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.
Power for the Dodge Challenger SRT8 comes from a front mounted 6.1 litre HEMI V8 engine which manages to produce 425 bhp @ 6200 rpm, and 420 lb-ft (310 Nm) of torque @ 4800 rpm.
The exterior of the production Dodge Challenger has remained relatively faithful to the design of the original concept Dodge Challenger from 2006, with just a few minor tweaks and details altered including the addition of a black lip spoiler under the front bumper, the removal of the Dodge crosshair grille, repositioning of the side indicators, repositioned fuel filler, redesigned taillights and a small matt-black rear spoiler.
SRT8 Dodge Challenger Sport Car

Dodge will offer the limited-edition 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 in three colors: HEMI Orange, Bright Silver Metallic and Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat. Each two-door, rear-wheel-drive coupe will be produced with a numbered dash plaque and carbon fiberlike hood stripes.
Inside the 2008 Dodge Challenger many of the components are borrowed from the Charger and other Chrysler models, and the design has obviously been compromised in order to come in on budget.
Performance targets for the all-new 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 are impressive, and include a 0–60 mph time in the low 5-second range, 0–100–0 mph in less than 17 seconds, a ¼-mile elapsed time of less than 14 seconds, 60–0 mph braking distance of approximately 100 feet, and a skid pad performance of 0.88 g.

2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392

2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392
There was good story about this 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392.  Dodge Challenger hit the scene in 2008, it was apparent that Chrysler had taken a different tack with its retro muscle car than Ford or Chevrolet. Larger, heavier and more comfortable than either the resurrected Camaro or rebodied Mustang, the Challenger was more grand tourer than a red light terror. But with the Pentastar's resurrection comes two new powerplants, both of which make an already solid package even more appealing for those seeking style seasoned with a healthy dose of all-American get-up-and-go.
