2011 Opel Astra Sports Tourer Reviews with Pictures

Opel is keeping busy, and aside from moving into a handful of new markets and pulling the sheets off of a hot concept, the German manufacturer has been whittling away on its wagon interpretation of the company's Astra. The 2011 Astra Sports Tourer wears the brand's trademark nose and sculpted sheet metal, but throws in an arching roof line for good measure. Inside, buyers can look forward to a set of snappy folding seats in the rear Opel claims should help make the car appealing to both families and small businesses looking to haul goods.
The prime aspect of the estate vehicle remains its cargo area that offers 1,550 liters of space to house all your luggage. Credit goes to new Flex Fold Rear Seat system, which allows each section of the 60/40 split-fold rear seat backs to be lowered at the press of a button located in the side walls of the cargo compartment.
Some of the other features include the adaptive mechatronic Flex Ride chassis, the AFL+ adaptive forward lighting, the ergonomic front seating systems and the Opel Eye front view camera syste. Also under development is a next-generation Flex Fix integrated rear bike carrier, which company plans to introduce for the Sports Tourer next year.
Opel has ripped the lid off the new 2011 Opel Astra Sports Tourer, ahead of a planned public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October. Along with the car, Opel is introducing a new 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces either 118 horsepower (88 kW, 120 PS), or 138 horsepower (103 kW, 140 PS).
Eight different engines, both petrol and diesels, will be sold on the Sports Tourer. The engines range in power output from 94 hp (70 kW, 95 PS) to 177 hp (132 kW, 180 PS). At the top of the diesel lineup is a 2.0-liter CDTI unit that delivers 158 hp (118 kW, 160PS) and up to 380 Nm of torque when the over boost function is enabled. A six-speed manual transmission looks to come standard on the car, though a six-speed automatic is available on some models.

2010 Mitsubishi ASX Details and Some Nice Pics

Mitsubishi ASX represents the brand’s move towards on-road crossovers, a move inspired by research showing that buyers of its Out lander big brother cross-shopped D-segment sedans rather than midsized SUV/CUVs. The C-segment ASX will be called the RVR in Japan and the Out lander Sport in the US market. And though the ASX’s front-end is allegedly inspired by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry F2 fighter, it looks remarkably similar to BMW’s recently-launched C-segment crossover, the X1. Which kind of makes sense, considering the F2 is actually just a modified F-16. Imitation is the most commercially viable form of flattery.
The 2011 Mitsubishi Out lander Sport crossover will be available at Mitsubishi dealerships later this year, and will carry a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine instead of a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine found in the European model. The 2.0-liter engine gets an estimated fuel economy of 31 mpg highway, so we can safely assume that city driving will be around 23 mpg. And that is in the same fuel economy rating as the Ford Equinox, which is not bad at all. Option for an all-wheel-drive version will also be offered; unless it comes with a bigger engine, we don’t recommend it. No pricing is available yet for this attractive 2011 Out lander Sports crossover, but what we have experienced in the past is that Mitsubishi’s pricing is very competitive. The 2011 Mitsubishi Out lander is not alone in the 2011 sales, it will be up against top contenders like the Honda CR-V, Toyota Highlander, and the new 2011 KIA Sportage.
The base model comes with 16-inch alloys, keyless entry, cloth seats, soft-touch dash and front door surfaces, CD/MP3 player with AUX and USB ports, ABS-assisted disc brakes, four-wheel independent suspension, seven airbags including a knee bag, and an optional panoramic glass roof with mood lighting along the sides.

The top model gets 17-inch alloys, a front lip spoiler, intelligent entry with starter button, HID headlights, leather upholstery and a 7-speaker stereo with sub woofer, among other items.

2010 Mini E Review with Wallpapers

Mini has released the full technical details for the all-electric version of its two-door Cooper hatch, which is set to be delivered in an initial batch of 500 examples to customers in the United States later this year. BMW is using its Mini brand to test the waters with its electric powertrain technology but the vehicle was also developed in order to meet new California regulations that require car makers to offer zero emission vehicles.
On the track the MINI accelerates with gusto and it is a unique experience to only have to modulate the accelerator to make turns through the autocross course. Fact is it probably made the electric the easiest car to drive fast, unless you were used to left foot braking techniques. The American-made AC Propulsion system uses 5088 lithium-ion cells in the space normally filled by the rear seats. The 201 horsepower electric motor, which makes 143 foot-pounds of torque, the power control electronics, and the inverter, which turns DC current into AC and back again are under the hood.

BMW says a fully charged Mini E has a driving range of about 160 miles, well within the round-trip commuting range of many American drivers. Top speed is said to be governed to 95 mph and 0-60 acceleration is electronically limited to about eight seconds, to preserve battery power. Regenerative braking charges the battery every time the brakes are applied.

Just like most of the  BMW M6 models we’ve seen in the past, Alpine325ci incorporates a number of design elements that are usually found in the M6, including a redefined bumper, fresh side skirts, and allow wheels, all of which he decided to add to the Concept 6-Series Coupe. Comparing it to the other rendering we saw before, Alpine325ci’s take looks fresher and less intimidating than the other rendering. Make no mistake, both score aces on our scorecard, although if we’re going to pick one, we’d choose this by a very slight margin.

The new race-only V-10 powered rear-wheel drive 2011 Dodge Challenger V10 Mopar Drag Pak features an 8.4-liter 512 cubic-inch engine with a 2-speed automatic transmission.

The Dodge Challenger V10 Mopar Drag Pak features a Bright White paint scheme with color options. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $85,512 and production begins early next year.

Based on the 2011 Dodge Challenger and finished in a Stock Eliminator and Super Stock configuration, the 2011 Mopar Challenger V-10 Drag Pak is the first and only 500-plus cubic-inch V-10 drag-race package car.
